• Announcement of the 2009 Carolina Panthers Ed Block Courage Award Winner, a Panthers player who is chosen by his teammates as a representing a source of inspiration and courage
• Presentation of the 2009 YHI Alumni Award, given to a YHI youth or family of courage who has demonstrated that "Courage is shown on many different playing fields"
